ABOUT THE ROLE
JFD Sweden is seeking a skilled and passionate Electrical Engineer to join their close-knit and highly experienced electrical department. You will be part of a dynamic team, working on the full spectrum of electronic and electrical system design – from concept to tested and delivered product.
Key responsibilties include:
CAD of electrical systems.
Creation and checking of
engineering documentation such as manufacturing drawings and specifications,
cable lists, BOM, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, test procedures,
certification, reports, manuals and ILS documentation.
Liaise and monitor electronic suppliers. Production
methods and quality. Inspecting electrical components during and after the
product installation.
Sourcing suitable components and
materials when required and creation of part numbers and bill of materials.
Factory acceptance tests. Testing electronics for
problems and proposing solutions. Installation help and tests of complete
boat including commissioning, service, test and repairs of electronic
systems onboard TDVs including serial communication protocols
(CAN/network/NMEA), electrical drive systems and PLC hardware and
software.
Ensuring engineering solutions are provided on time
and on budget.
WHO ARE YOU:
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in electrical system development and design for manufacturability.
CAD experience for PCB design, for example Altium or KeyCAD.
Fluency in English both in writing and speaking.
Swedish citizenship as you will need to go through a security clearance check.
It is also beneficial if you have:
Experience with serial communication protocols, RS232,
RS422, CAN (J1939) or TCP / IP
Previous experience with PLC hardware and software
Driver's license
Knowledge of the Swedish language
