ABOUT THE POSITION

JFD Sweden is seeking a Quality Controller who will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company’s products and services meet the highest international, industry, customer, and government standards. This role encompasses responsibilities from the design phase to delivery, including oversight of the Control Plan for projects, supplier evaluations, Corrective Action reports, and Root Cause Analysis. The role is integral to JFD Sweden's operational success, with significant contributions to every project.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Conduct inspections on incoming and outgoing goods, including batch sampling, witnessing production, third-party tests, and workstation audits.
  • Document quality issues, raise non-conformances, and sign off on QA inspection hold points.
  • Communicate with suppliers to investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely and professional manner, while collaborating with production and engineering departments.
  • Support other departments and liaise with internal JFD teams to contribute to company goals and address customer complaints, including corrective action follow-up.
  • Develop quality processes, procedures, and documentation as required.
  • Promote a positive HSSEQ culture, focusing on continuous improvement, hazard reduction, and injury prevention for oneself and others.
  • Proactively stop or refuse unsafe work situations that present imminent or serious risks.
  • Ensure actions or inactions do not compromise the health and safety of others, including users of the company’s products or services.


WHO ARE YOU?

To be successful in this role: 

  • Minimum 2 years experience in quality control or a similar technical discipline.
  • Proven workshop/inspection experience with tools such as micrometers and verniers.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and practices.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems (Glovia preferred but not mandatory).
  • Understanding of Quality Management Software systems.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Awareness of ISO 9001 standards and quality control interactions.
  • Knowledge of certification and documentation requirements (proficiency desirable).
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in both English and Swedish.

  • Strong personal communication skills and the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage projects to deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • Swedish citizen and eligibility for security clearance.
