About the role

We are seeking a Producibility Engineer to join our customer in Kumla. This is a key role focused on optimizing the design and manufacturability of PCBs and PBAs. Working closely with cross-functional global teams, you will act as a bridge between product development and production. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology and collaborate with experienced colleagues in a supportive and innovative environment.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Conduct Design for Manufacturing reviews to ensure PCB and PBA designs are optimized for production.
  • Support and improve design layouts to address production challenges and ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with global teams in China, Estonia, and the USA to align solutions across multiple production sites.
  • Use and enhance design rules to improve producibility and tackle design-to-production issues.
  • Ensure smooth handovers of production solutions to execution teams.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role we believe that you have: 

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Work experience within DFM or related field.
  • Familiarity with PCB/PBA design and manufacturing processes, including layout optimization.
  • Familiarity in relevant software tools for PCB/PBA design and optimization.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written)
