You'll work on creative design solutions, enhancing and maintaining the product portfolio, with a focus on development, construction, and production. About the role, Design Engineer
Green Furniture Concept is in an expansive phase and now needs to strengthen the team with a driven and analytic Design Engineer. This position begins as a temporary assignment until September 2025, with good opportunities for extension. You will be a part of the in-house R&D team of Green Furniture Concept and work on creative design solutions, expanding as well as nursing Green’s portfolio. You will be working with both new and existing product series. Together with the R&D team you will act as a product owner. Having great understanding of Green’s products in a detailed way to support with product related questions and better understand how to streamline and optimize. You will take part in all stages of the design process with a heavy focus on the later stages, where design transcends into development, construction and production. We also believe these are the stages where you feel most at home and your expertise lies. As a part of Green’ you’ll collaborate with other departments within the company, such as operations, sales and marketing.

What you will do as a Design Engineer
This, among other daily tasks, will be an essential part of your work. Since Green' is a dynamic and evolving company, responsibilities and tasks may also be added or adjusted over time. Just the way we like it!

- Craft models and drawings of products using CAD
- Analyze prototype data and retest if needed
- Identify solutions to improve production efficiency
- Evaluating design solutions against industry standards and regulations
- Ensure products are user and environment friendly
- Present design internal and external
- Undertake model making, prototyping and product testing


What you need to bring

- A relevant degree and previous experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role
- Technical skills, including experience in 3D-modeling, where SolidWorks is a plus
- Having experience in creative and design related projects
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
